I was fortunate to have a personal tour of the Santa Cruz guitar factory in Santa Cruz, CA conducted by owner Richard Hoover. They build great guitars with a high degree of hand craft, always doing whatever it takes to optimize the sound to be derived from carefully selected, rare tonewoods.
